Restore your Countdown Premium purchase

Recover access to a one-time Countdown Premium purchase using the Apple Account that made the original purchase.

Requires iOS 26 or later. Use the latest Countdown version; button names and placement can vary. Images are product examples, not screenshots of the setup steps.

1. Check the Apple Account

Make sure the App Store is signed in to the Apple Account used to buy Countdown Premium. Restoring checks an existing purchase; it does not require buying Premium again.

2. Restore in Countdown

Open the purchase screen in Countdown and select Restore Purchase. The app asks Apple to sync purchases and checks for a verified Premium entitlement. Keep an internet connection available while it completes.

3. If Premium is still locked

If no purchase is found, check the Apple Account and its purchase history. If restoration fails, try again when connected. Contact support with your iPhone model, iOS version, and the message shown if you still need help. Restoring Premium restores purchase access, not deleted countdowns or photos: event data is stored locally, not in an iCloud sync service.
